The brushed finish, also known as HL (hairline), is named after the straight hair-like appearance it creates post-treatment. This process slightly reduces the thickness of the stainless steel plate by about 0.1 to 0.2mm. Brushed finishes can include wire drawing, line (mess), and corrugation effects.
